Gunmen Kidnap Three In Osun Settlement

Over the weekend, gunmen abducted three people after entering a settlement in Iwo, Osun state.

It is understood that hooligans broke into the community around 10 pm last Friday and sporadically fired shots to intimidate the masses.

The shooting was said to have caused pandemonium as residents scampered to safety.

According to The Nation, a source in the community said the gunmen abducted three people.

State police spokesman Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the incident, said Hamidat Ibraheem reported the incident to the police.

“The gunmen kidnapped Hamza Ibrahim and Deir Ibrahim, 38 years old,” Obalola added.

Our officers, hunters and other local security agencies are combing the forest to rescue the victims.”
