‘WE DIDN’T MEAN TO KILL HIM’ – TEENAGE BOYS TELL JOURNALISTS AT LAGOS POLICE PRESS BRIEFING

During the end of the year press briefing organized by the Lagos State Police Command earlier today by the Commissioner of Police, AIG Hakeem Odumosu, two teenage boys, Kasali and Farouk aged 17 and 15 respectively were said to have killed a pastor.

The teenage boys disclosed to NAOSNP President, Oki Samson and other newsmen how they killed a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor in Festac, Lagos.

Perhaps to steal from the Pastor they simply called Tunde, they ended up killing the man.

Both teenagers who claimed to be hip-hop artistes may face the court soon.

17-year-old Kasali Jamiu aka J. Frosh while anwering questions from journalists said: ‘It was in a church that the incident happened. We went upstairs.

I took a plank and my friend took a bottle.

I hit the plank on the pastor and my friend used the bottle and we ran away’ gathered Trek Africa Newspaper during the press briefing.

‘We attacked the pastor because of Farouk Mohammed’s mother, he is going back to Ilorin to see his sick mother.

We planned to be attending entertainment events in Lagos where we can be getting opportunities to perform as musical artists. We lied to farouk’s mum that we won a competition in Lagos as hip-hop artistes.

The mission changed when were in the church.

We stole the pastor’s bag. The pastor’s name is Tunde of RCCG in Festac. But we didn’t mean to kill him.

The other suspect, 15-year-old Farouk Mohammed aka Zeelight said they started working as a musical artists since 2014.

‘We started doing musical work in 2014. We didn’t mean to kill him.’
