The Executive Chairman, Ojodu LCDA Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku commissioned Agidingbi Primary Health Care Center in the early hours of Wednesday 12th January.
The Primary Health Center was donated to Ojodu LCDA by the Lagos State Government in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES initiative which tallies with Hon. Odunmbaku’s HEYS (Health, Education, Youths and Social Infrastructure) Agenda.
In his remark, Odunmbaku eulogized Mr. Sanwo-Olu for his magnanimity as well as the MHR, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, erstwhile leader of Ojodu Legislative Arm, Hon. Wasiu Seidu and Mrs Funmi Bank-Anthony, for their stupendous efforts that brought the project to reality.
Odunmbaku used the auspicious occasion to solicit for more interventions and assistance from well-meaning individuals and corporate entities, to complement the present health initiatives which would further make lives more worthwhile for the people of Ojodu LCDA.
“Just like Oliver Twist, “we ask for more”. Our communities are open to interventions that would make life more livable and comfortable for the masses”, the Chairman said.
In the same vein while delivering his goodwill message, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, Dr. Ibrahim Mustapha lauded the Governor and Hon. Odunmbaku for their keen interest in the well-being of the citizens.
He also encouraged the citizens to make good use of the newly donated Center (which has been furnished with state of the art equipment).
Agidingbi PHC is expected to operate for 8 hours daily, with the expectation of increasing to 24 hours as assured by the Executive Chairman.
Also present at the occasion were the traditional rulers,Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Ojodu LCDA Legislators, Management Staff, CDC/CDA chairmen and well-wishers.
