PRO-TINUBU GROUP, ASIWAJU DISTINGUISHED AMBASSADORS MOVEMENT (ADAM) SET FOR SYMPOSIUM, EMPOWERMENT, FREE MEDICAL CHECK WED. 26TH JAN; AAREBINRIN FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA URGES  TO ‘ENGAGE, OCCUPY AND PARTICIPATE’

A pro-Tinubu group, Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) has yesterday reinforced its allegiance to the political ideals and presidential aspiration of the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group established this during their press conference attended and covered by Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper to intimate Nigerians on the rationale and the impact that the movement is making in Nigeria’s sociopolitical space since inception.

They called on fellow Nigerians to join the train in support of one of the most detribalised Nigerian leaders who they regard as one ‘that all of us can truly be proud about’.

The group led by Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba is set to hold a symposium, free medical check and empowerment programme.

The symposium tagged, ‘My Asiwaju Story,’ is slated to take place on Wednesday 26th January, 2022, at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos, with the title ‘Asiwaju the quintessential leader, second to none.’

“At the event on Wednesday 26th January, 2022, aside from the symposium, there will be a presentation of awards, empowerment, music, free medical check, free eye test and Jigi Bola (free).

Addressing pressmen, the Global Director General of the group, Aarebinrin Hon. Folashade Olabanji-Oba said: ‘We are ambassadors that believe in this great country and know that our leader is one of the most detribalized in Nigeria.

We are ADAM – the first man – Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement.

Life is about choices especially at this time in our country when we are thinking transition onto the next phase.

We feel the time is now. We have been on this journey for quite a while.

We come together knowing that we have a leader who has truly being supportive, a leader of leaders, a pathfinder, a nation builder, and human capacity developer.

For us in Lagos state, we feel that a lot of things that we enjoy in Lagos started with our leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

We start now to tell the world that we are bound to our national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader that all of us can truly be proud about.’

‘For us, we say there is a bit of Asiwaju in all of us. Beyond the elections, we are a movement. We are not limited to an event.

It is alignment, we choose our leader. That is why there is a bit of Asiwaju in everyone – waking up that gentle giant in all of us.

It is not a one-person, one-day job. Let you of today be better than you of yesterday’, she stated.

Speaking on the graceful personality that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is, Hon. Mrs. Olabanji-Oba asserted: ‘There are some individuals who come only once in a lifetime.

I see our national leader as one. And so what we are doing is not just being a body but a movement. It is a generation; it is history in the making.

I believe Asiwaju still remains our best choice. We bank on his style of leadership.

Nobody was forced into this. Elections will come and go but Nigeria will remain. Let’s think Nigeria first not instant gratification.

In purpose, you choose who you believe can take you to the Promised Land.

We are not being paid to do this, we are volunteering. When women believe passionately in a cause, we talk and do.’

‘We are blessed as a country but sometime we see so little about ourselves.

When we think of peace and stability in terms of what is going on now, we can say that Nigeria really needs to get behind him.

Yes, there are challenges but this too shall pass. 2023 is ripe for someone like him that is accepted all over the world.

At so many times, he has shown that Nigeria has all it requires to be one of the best countries in the world.

But most times we need to be reassured that the potentials we need is within us.

Unleashing those potentials is what we know our national leader for.

Taking that bold step is what we are waiting on him, I know he has shown interest.’

‘I am not one to condemn or bring down anybody.

This is a democracy and I am here because of certain convictions. In the past 20 years, we can talk from now till night about his impact

We are all saying that if we can be the best as citizens and truly believe in Nigeria the way he does, we will be understudied all over the world. I know I have a leader that doesn’t see Nigeria along ethnic lines.’

Baring her thoughts on the condition of the country, the Vice Chairman of Ikorodu LGA told Trek Africa Newspaper, ‘Peaceful transition is what we want.

You cannot benefit anything in insecurity. I don’t believe in war.

I happen to have lived in different parts of the country. I attended FGC Owerri and we were raised to live beyond the war. I speak Igbo.

I look Fulani as many say. We are one. I am never afraid to go to any part of the country. I find the same in our national leader.

We are aligned. There is greatness for us when we work together. We got all it takes to make it work.’

‘We all need to work together. How many pieces are we going to break into?

Of what benefit will that be to the world? Will tht solve our problems? The number is key.

We just need to redirect our mindset on how we can tolerate ourselves. We are going out to let people know that the number matters.

You are just as important as your next door neighbor. The more of us in the space, the better it is for us.

Let us engage, participate, and occupy. This is democracy.’

The grassroots mobilizer, Princess Olabanji-Oba noted that Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) is holding a two in one event on Wednesday 26th January, 2022. ‘We have 2 events for that day.

The morning session is medical outreach and symposium/awards later. All these are to point to our national leader as the best we can have as the incoming president.’

In the same vein, a patron of Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM), Hon. Adewale Adeoye sharing with Trek Africa Newspaper noted about Asiwaju, ‘We have seen so many people he has led to stardom. We are not just following him to become president.

We have been following him before he became Governor of Lagos state and he didn’t disappoint. Something that I pick from him is his ability to leave a place better that he met it.’

On Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, he said: ‘She has been in the forefront of campaign for Asiwaju Tinubu since.’We drink, sleep, eat, talk Asiwaju.

We believe in Asiwaju. Our passion will come to reality.’
