The public service of a national or subnational government is identified as the fulcrum of any noteworthy development.

Thus, a growing society like Nigeria’s must place adequate premium on enabling the public servants with requisite knowledge, insight and experience.

This underscored the recent training that Lagos top public servants spread across the different ministries, departments, and agencies in Lagos State Civil Service passed through in the past few days.

The training facilitated by Executive Trainers Ltd. took place at the University of London’s School of Slavonic and East European Studies, London, UK.

The fast-track executive training themed: ‘Higher Education-Business-Government Collaboration: Global Perspectives for Innovation and National Development’ offered the Lagos public servants an on-the-spot interaction and high-level training from the best.

Drawing resource persons from the academia, politics, business, history, and other key sectors from across the world, the participants credited the executive training as offering significant impact to their leadership and administrative capacity.

They also say that the knowledge acquired is practical enough to be deployed into their daily activities.
