The Lagos State Department of Education has finalized plans to host an Education Summit between Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st August 2022.
In a statement by the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Ms. Folasade Adefisayo, the summit, with the theme: “Creating a sustainable, fit-for-purpose education model,” said that it aims to provide a platform for public and private education stakeholders to develop ideas and solutions together.
According to her, the event will attract various speakers from the public and private sectors on the main and various sub-themes related to the development of fit-for-purpose educational frameworks and partnership.
Ms. Adefisayo also announced that the summit will also discuss stakeholders’ collective commitment to advocacy to achieve quality and equitable education in the state.
