The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested forty eight alleged fraudsters.
The Commission also detained two women, Precious Malachi Zidyep and Tina Patrick Omoyeme, at the Rosalux Blue Hotel in Agua, South Kaduna.
Among the suspects are two ex-convicts: Williams Justices Gankon and AbdulWasiu Yunus, who were previously arrested on April 10, 2022 and tried and convicted on August 31, 2022 by Kaduna State Supreme Court Judge Nasiru Umar Sadiq.
He was arrested at Yoruba Street, Yakowa Expressway, Karji, Kaduna State.
Items recovered from them included mobile phones of various models and laptops.
The anti-graft agency added that the accused will be brought to trial once the investigation is over.
