Kano Bureau De Change Operators Celebrate Emefiele’s Suspension

Alhaji Sani Dada, President of the Bureau de Change in Kano, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s suspension of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefile, as one of the best things to happen to the nation in recent times.

Echoing the voices of most traders in the Kano Forex Market, popularly known as (WAPA), Dada said that the exchange office traders have to celebrate their departure from the main bank due to the difficulties it has imposed on Nigerians through the unpopular naira redesign policy.

The Chairman revealed that they have been patiently waiting for this historic day to come, adding that today the former governor of CBN is behind bars awaiting an in-depth investigation into his shoddy activities in the past. his time as governor of CBN.
