My Fight With Mark Zuckerberg Will be Streamed Live on Twitter, Meta – Elon Musk

  • The encounter with Zuckerberg will take place in the medieval coliseum in the ancient city of Rome
  • Musk said that everything in the battle will be reminiscent of the history and traditions of ancient Rome and will be devoid of any trappings of modernity

Elon Musk, the owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, has said that members of the public will be able to live stream his highly anticipated cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg on the X and Meta social media platforms.

The match against Meta founder Zuckerberg will take place in the medieval Colosseum in the ancient city of Rome.

Musk revealed that everything about the fight would be reminiscent of the history and traditions of ancient Rome and would be devoid of any trappings of modernity.

The announcement comes weeks after Mr Musk took to the X platform to challenge Mr Zuckerberg to a cage fight, saying: “I’m all for a cage fight if he’s like that.

Responding via his Instagram stories, Mr Zuckerberg said: “Send me the location.” The X CEO revealed via his X page on Friday that the fight would be operated and managed by his and Zuckerberg’s foundation, not the UFC.

He also stated that everything done would pay respect to Italy’s past and present, and the proceeds from the battle would go to veterans.

Musk said he spoke to Italy’s prime minister and culture minister about the fight, and they agreed to an epic venue.

According to AFP, Italian Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano confirmed that he had spoken to Mr. Musk about how to organize a large charity event that evokes history.

Mr Sangiuliano said in a statement that any event with Musk would bring “a huge sum of millions of euros, which will be donated to two major Italian pediatric hospitals.”

He added: “It will also be an opportunity to promote our history and archaeological, artistic and cultural heritage on a global scale.”
