Addressing the Management Staff of the Ministry of Transportation earlier today, the newly redeployed Permanent Secretary, Mr. Maroof Olawale Musa sought for the collaboration of the Transportation Family to consolidate on the achievements of Traffic Management and Transportation pillar to further drive the economy of the State.
He made this appeal on assumption of duty at the Ministry of Transportation.
The Transport Permanent Secretary while commending the outgoing Permanent Secretary for his tremendous work in the Ministry charged all staff to be productive and effective at their duty posts.
Mr. Musa, who was redeployed from the Ministry of Establishment and Training, on arrival at the Ministry, was warmly received by the former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Engr. Abdulhafiz Toriola, along with the Management staff.
In his handover address, the former Permanent Secretary, Engr. Abdulhafiz Toriola, who has also been redeployed to the Ministry of Housing, appealed to members of staff to give Mr. Musa the necessary support to ensure the success of the Ministry.
Mr. Musa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position, having demonstrated outstanding leadership and administrative skills in his previous roles as General Manager, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, (LASTMA), Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Chief of Staff and Ministry of Establishment and Training.
The Permanent Secretary, having showcased his commitment to excellence and deep understanding of the Public Service, has also declared his readiness to take the transport sector of the State to a higher level.
