Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has died. A family source informed SaharaReporters on Wednesday, December 27 that Akeredolu died in Lagos.
Notably, State House doctors were reportedly overseeing his medical care until his death, as the challenges of international travel prevented him from traveling abroad for treatment.
The insider revealed: “Last week they were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos.”
Rotimi Akeredolu was 67 years old at the time of his demise.
Reports stated that the cause of his death was leukemia; Blood cancer caused by an increase in the number of white blood cells in the body.
