32 People Kidnapped In Ondo, Amotekun Combs The Forest

32 people were taken hostage by suspected kidnappers in Ondo state.

The incident reportedly happened over the weekend as the 32 victims were leaving a memorial service in Benin City, Edo state.

It was discovered that the victims were being transported on a coaster bus when they were ambushed by the gunmen.

After the development, Amotekun Corps officers immediately began searching for the kidnapped individuals in the forest from Benin-Ifon to Owo.

Adetunji Adeleye, commander of the state corps, confirmed the incident and said the command will do everything possible to rescue the victims.

According to Adeleye, the Amotekun Corps and other security agencies were informed in order to free the victims and have since initiated a search and rescue operation.
