The Lagos state government has refuted claims of its involvement in requiring motorists to purchase stickers to raise funds for the All Progressive Congress Candidates campaign, which was attached to a viral video that has been trending on social media.
The Department of Transport has strongly condemned the above claims, stressing that the sticker was not created and distributed by the Department or any of its agencies.
The Department of Transportation urged stakeholders in the transportation sector, particularly those providing public road transport, to report anyone caught selling the stickers on behalf of the Lagos State Department of Transportation, adding that those involved in this mischief , desist , or face the wrath of the law.
