Police Arrest Three For Suspected Killing Of 45-year-old Man In Ikire

Osun State Police Command personnel have arrested three suspects in the killing of a 45-year-old man identified as Sunbo Atobatele Mutahi, popularly known as “Small M” in Ikire.

A press statement from Within Nigeria noted that three suspects, identified as 37-year-old Makinde Adewale, 22-year-old Lawal Dauda and 33-year-old Oyebola Abiola, were arrested by police Tuesday night.

This arrest came after the deceased’s brother, Waheed Atobatele, went to Ikire Police Station to report that an Ojo, affectionately known as Farao, and his group kidnapped his brother in the Ako area, killed his brother with a locally made weapon and had deposited his remains in an unfinished building Ita Merin, Ikire.

At the time of filing this report, the remains of the deceased have been transported to the Oluyoro Catholic Mortuary Hospital in Oke-Ola Apomu for an autopsy by investigators led by Supol Olaseinde and the police are currently investigating the matter.
