House of Representatives Candidate Died Four Days To The Election

With the much anticipated general election commencing in four days time, tragedy has reportedly befallen the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State as its candidate for the Wudil/Garko House of Representatives Constituency, Alhaji Kamilu Ado Isa has died.

Isa, a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), died on Monday after a short illness, according to reports compiled from the Crime Channel website.

While offering condolences to Isa’s family, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the party’s presidential candidate, Mention of his death as shocking and a huge vacuum that cannot be replaced.

Kwankwaso said Isa dedicated his time, wealth and energy to the success of the party and his immediate community.

Praying to God Almighty to forgive his shortcomings, Kwankwaso said, “I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamlu Addo Asah, NNPP House of Representatives candidate for Wodele/Garko Constituency.

“May Allah Almighty forgive him his shortcomings and grant him everlasting peace.

My condolences to his family, friends and NNPP Kano Chapter.”

The deceased has been buried in Kano according to the Islam rites.
