It was indeed a historic day on Thursday, April 20, 2023, when Hon. David Olukoya Doherty finally received his certificate of return at the Independent National Electoral Commission Lagos State office.
The official presentation was made by Adebisi Ajayi, the Administrative Secretary of INEC in Lagos State.
He also admonished the Member-Elect to ensure that he is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises to the good people of Amuwo Odofin Constituency two.
Hon. David Olukoya Doherty, in his remarks, appreciated the good people of Amuwo Odofin Constituency two for the privilege of electing him as their representative to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He promised not to disappoint them, as he is ready to work in synergy with his colleagues and the Lagos State Government so that his constituents can access available benefits from the State Government.
Doherty, in his further remarks, asserts that his arms are wide enough to accommodate all interest groups irrespective of their party affiliation, ethnicity, religion, etc.
He looks forward to working with major stakeholders, particularly the Private Sector Group, in delivering on his campaign promises.
