Colleagues in the Yoruba wing of the Nigerian movie industry stormed the Ikorodu residence of late actor Murphy Afolabi.
Afolabi’s death came as a rude shock to netizens as well as his colleagues.
He died after falling to his death in the bathroom.
Movie stars, fans showed up at his house in an attempt to pay their last respects and sympathize with his family.
Speaking to the press, the veteran actor Mr. Latin recounted how he heard the news.
Other colleagues of the artist also spoke to reporters as they recalled their time with the actor and prayed for his family.
Mercy Aigbe, Kemi Afolabi, Damilola Olatunji and others were in attendance to say goodbye to their colleague with tears in their eyes.
It was previously announced that the actor would be buried on May 15 at his residence in Ikorodu.
