The Head of the Lagos State Service (HOS), Mr. Bode Agoro, has stated that the welfare and safety of Lagos State civil servants will remain the top priority of the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Chief of Staff disclosed this on Friday when he visited the Lagos State Staff Quarters along WEMPCO Road in Ogba Phase II, Ikeja, Lagos.
Agoro said the visit, which came at the request of the governor, was to allow the government to have an overview of all the structures at the staff quarters in the state.
“There are also plans to construct additional apartment blocks to reduce the housing deficit of public servants.
Agoro added that the government of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu remains committed to facilitating and promoting an enabling environment for public servants.
Senior government officials present during the visit include the Permanent Secretary of the Public Service Office, Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola and her counterpart from the Office of Works, Arc Odusanya Adebayo; Secretary, Staff Housing Board, Mr. Abdulrafiu Fashola and Director of Service Matters, Mrs. Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila among others.
