Tinubu Appointed Eight new Permanent Secretaries

  • New appointments followed the recent selection process by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries of the federal government.

A statement on Friday evening by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelele revealed the new appointments following a recent selection process by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.

According to the statement, President Tinubu asked the new Permanent Secretary to use his talents and expertise to help the administration deliver the New Hope agenda to Nigerians.

“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries of the Federal Civil Service following the recently concluded selection process at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation: “Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo; Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji; Rimi Nura Abba; Bako Deborah Odoh; Omachi Raymond Omenka; Ahmed Dunoma Umar; Watti Tinuke; and Ella Nicholas Agbo.

“President Tinubu expects that the new Permanent Secretaries, having emerged among the top qualified candidates after a diligent evaluation process, will develop their expertise and capabilities in the effective execution of the Renewed Hope mandate of revitalizing service delivery in all Federal Ministries, Ministries, and Agencies in the best interest of the Nigerian people,” the statement read.
