I’ll Die Revealing My Sponsors – Suspect Arrested With Body Bag And AK-47 Rifle

An alleged killer, Destiny Agbaijoh, has said he would die if he opened up to his sponsors after he was arrested by Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents in Ondo state.

According to information gathered on the Within Nigeria news site, a 25-year-old Destiny is in the state with an AK-47, pump-action, 91 5.56mm bullets, 16 rounds and N347,000 in cash Ondo.

NDLEA State Commander Kayode Raji said the suspect was arrested during a patrol and search operation along Ore Okitipupa Road.

Raji said the suspect tried to bribe his men on duty with cash found on him, which his men refused and took him into custody.

He said: “The suspect was arrested by our men in a search and control operation on July 20 along the Ore-Okitipupa road.

During the search, he was found with various weapons and ammunition of various types.

“He was also arrested with risers and we asked him what it was used for, he said he would die if he confessed.

“It looks like bags that they keep dead bodies or people’s mutilated bodies in. We have completed our preliminary investigation and will hand him over to the Nigerian Police,” Raji said.

After being brought up in Akure, the suspect, who revealed he was a timber merchant, told reporters: “I will die if I confess my mission and those who sent me.”

The reason he decided not to take the bag to the police, he said after noticing the contents: “I never thought there would be problems for me later.

I saw it in a bush where I work. I saw it in a nylon bag they wrapped it in and I carried it to my village.

“I don’t know that there will be problems later. I came from Bayelsa State and went to Agadagba, my hometown in Ese-Odo Municipality, Ondo State.

The money is mine and comes from my lumber business.”
